Dr. Sheila Khanna, M.D.

Physiatrist, Physical Medicine Associates
Dr. Khanna is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation. At Friendship Village, she works closely with therapists, nurses and physicians to determine the right course of therapy for patients. She strives to help patients regain their functional skills so they can be more self-sufficient. In addition to consulting at Friendship Village, Dr. Khanna owns her own practices and has worked at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.

Valerie Bare

Rehabilitation Coordinator, Friendship Village of Schaumburg
Ms. Bare has 19 years of experience in the Long Term Care/CCRC field. She has held the roles of C.N.A., charge nurse, QI Coordinator, Infection Control Nurse, Medicare/ MDS Coordinator and Home Health Nurse. She has a unique LTC perspective. Her heart lies in the Restorative Nursing arena in which she holds a certificate.

Susan Sinitean

Coordinator of the Alexian Brothers Resource Center for Seniors
Ms. Sinitean is currently the Coordinator of the Alexian Brothers Resource Center for Seniors at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. This department helps seniors and caregivers find solutions to their needs, offers caregivers support groups and valuable educational programs for seniors and professionals in the industry. Ms. Sinitean is a seasoned professional having worked exclusively in the field of older adult services for the last 22 years and is a strong advocate for this special population. She has spent much time working to set up community-based services to help older adults living at home. She also has extensive experience guiding families in selecting quality healthcare services and living arrangements for their aging parents and loved ones.

Dean Dellaria

Mr. Dellaria has been with Friendship Senior Options for more than seven years. As the Director of Sales, he oversees the entire staff of Friendship Village Residency Counselors. Mr. Dellaria works closely with prospective resident and their families, providing information on the various living and contract options. He is also involved with the Friendship Village Marketing Department and is a Certified Marketing Professional.
