Accreditation

Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities In 2008, Friendship Village earned its fourth five-year re-accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). As an accredited Continuing Care Retirement Community, Friendship Village meets rigorous and comprehensive guidelines for governance, fiscal responsibility and standards of care.

Friendship Village was the first Continuing Care Retirement Community in Illinois to become accredited and has chosen to engage in the accreditation process year after year to demonstrate:

  • Our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality programs and services.
  • Our willingness to involve residents, family members and the local community in continuous improvement of services and offerings.
  • Our openness to a regular, third-party review that affirms our compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.

Each year, Friendship Village submits an Annual Conformance to Quality Report, which proves our continuing compliance with standards aimed at ensuring a secure environment for residents and meeting their needs and expectations for high-quality services.
