Friendship Village of Schaumburg is a Continuing Care Retirement Community dedicated to providing adults 62 and older with living options aimed at promoting good health and interesting, fulfilling lifestyles. At Friendship Village, residents can enjoy each day knowing they can be set for life thanks to our lifetime promise of care.
As a CCRC, Friendship Village offers a range of living options, including residential living, assisted living, memory support and skilled care. Regardless of what life brings, Friendship Village can offer the right living accommodation at the right time. The Friendship Village life care plan provides discounts on healthcare and provides lifetime access to assisted living, memory support and skilled care, all on site.
Friendship Village also offers an atmosphere of enjoyment and camaraderie. Residents enjoy a vibrant Lifestyles program as well as top-notch amenities including a fitness and aquatic center, privately operated salon and spa, and five dining venues, including a bar and grill. And with a full-service Physician Center, bank and convenience store on site, residents can run many errands without ever leaving the comfort of the community.
Many of these programs and amenities are also available to the community at large. Our "Friends and Fitness" program allows those 62 and older to use our fitness center and pool, while our salon and spa is open to the public. Community members are encouraged take advantage of our new meeting spaces with catering services to hold events, meetings and more. And we frequently host programs that are open to non-residents.
Since opening our doors more than 30 years ago, Friendship Village has built a strong reputation for providing quality care to older adults. It was the first Continuing Care Retirement Community in Illinois to earn accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and in 2008 received its fourth five-year re-accreditation.
